Class I to X

St. Xavier’s is marching ahead in a new direction determined by a long term strategic plan for imparting knowledge with emphasis on scholastic and co-scholastic milieu. The course of studies is as prescribed by CBSE. The classes run from Class I to Class X. The CCE mode of evaluation is implemented right from Class I to Class X.

English, the International Language, is the medium of instruction. Hindi being the national language too has a vital role in the curriculum and is taught in all the classes. ‘Odia’ is taught as a compulsory examinable subject from Class I to Class VIII. In class IX & X Odia is taught as per CBSE norms.

Dedicated faculty and staff teach through smart boards which provide excellent academics. Basic knowledge of language viz. English, Hindi & Odia, Science along with Social Science, Math, Arts, logical thinking and analytical abilities are focussed areas.

          Salient features of the curriculum includes, brain storming sessions, group discussions, technology-based learning, guest lectures, seminars and workshops, educational tours, case studies, etc.

          The school believes that each & every child is talented and it only depends on teachers as to mould them in an appropriate and fruitful way. Therefore, remedial classes are arranged for slow learners.

Class XI and XII ( +2 Science )
